ABEL eCampus: Online learning and collaboration environment
Overview
In order to deliver a fast, efficient, decentralised learning system for
professional accountants in New Zealand and Malaysia,
Advanced Business Education Limited (ABEL) required an online campus.
In partnership with our friends at
GroupSense (consultants and
enablers of online group strategies) and ZYPE (interface design),
IOPEN rapidly assembled an eCampus with groups, file sharing, results,
feedback and programme resources, based entirely upon open standards.
On average, over 300 eCampus
participants login everyday, though it has handled well over 1000 logins
in a 12 hour period. The
eCampus is also
hosted with IOPEN in the ServePath facility.
